In Histoire et Généalogie des Acadiens4513 Bona Arsenault errs in stating the Joseph Guidry, born in 1735 and married to Elizabeth Comeaux, was the son of Augustin Guidry and Jeanne Hébert. This Joseph Guidry was, in fact, the son of Paul Guédry and Anne-Marie Mius d’Entremont dit d’Azy as evidenced by many other sources. Furthermore, he attributes some of the children (Donat, Joseph and Alexandre) to the marriage of Joseph Guidry and Elizabeth Comeaux and some of the children (Félicité and Judith) to the marriage of Joseph Guidry and Monique Dupuis. All five of these children were born of Joseph Guédry, son of Paul Guédry and Anne-Marie Mius d’Entremont dit d’Azy, and Elizabeth Comeaux. A different Joseph Guidry married Monique Dupuis and he was the son of Augustin Guédry and Jeanne Hébert.
