Past President Cathedral and Our Lady of Lourdes CWL, Past President of the Marianhill Auxiliary, past Member of the Pembroke General Hospital Auxiliary.

Fund raiser for the United Way and Regional Director for the Arthritis Society

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Tuesday evening May 26, 2009. Reina LaBine of Pembroke, beloved wife of Errick LaBine. Dearly loved mother of Anthony LaBine (Doreen), Ottawa, Marylou Collins (David), Pembroke, Margaret Ann LaBine, Pembroke, Erica Fox (Greg), Keswick and Colleen Read (Terry), Winchester. Loving grandmother to Matthew (Melanie Driscoll), Megan, Ryan, Mark, Olivia, Jillian and Nicholas and great grandson Jack Collins. Predeceased by her sisters Lauretta Venne, Clara Oslund (late Martin), Blanche Venne and Agnes Ryan (late Bert) and brothers Cecil (late Virtue and late Margaret) and Daniel. Reina will be sadly missed by all her nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late William and Theresa (nee LaBine) Venne. Relatives and friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Thursday 7 - 9 p.m., Friday 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and Saturday after 11 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday afternoon May 30 at 1 o’clock in St. Columbkille’s Cathedral, Pembroke. (Cathedral CWL will meet at the Funeral Home Friday 3 p.m.) Interment St. Columba’s Cemetery. In memory of Reina, donations to the Canadian Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
