Mark Labine’s book8223 provides a birth year for Medric Labine of 1905. This seems unreasonable based on the birth years of his siblings which range from 1866 to 1880. It also seems unreasonable based on the age of his father Jérôme Guildry dit Labine, who was born in 1842 and would have been 63 years old in 1905. Although we do not know the birth year of Medric Labine’s mother, Adeline Rivest, we do know that she must have been born before 1852 since her first child was born in 1866. She, therefore, would have been at least 53 years old in 1905 - an exceptionally old age to have a child. It appears that there has been confusion of this Medric Labine, son of Jérôme Guildry dit Labine and Adeline Rivest, with Medrick Thomas Labine, son of Armose Labine and Lillian Lamour. Medrick Thomas Labine was born in 19048223,8225.
