“ In 1752 Jean Doiron and Anne Thibodaux, his wife were residents of Grande-Anse on Isle St. Jean. On January 23, 1759, Jean Doiron, Anne Thibodaux, his wife and their children: Simon and Gervaise Doiron disembarked at St-Malo from one of the “Five Ships.” This family resided in the following parishes:

In 1765, the entire family went to reside on Belle-Île-en-Mer. On February 23, 1767, Jean Doiron and his family were residing in the village of Bortereau, parish of Locmaria on Belle-Île-en-Mer. His declaration provides the dates from the parish of L’Assomption of Pisiguit. “10176

Albert Robichaux7235 cites a birthdate of 1 January 1759 for Laurence Anne Guédry. This is based on the baptismal certificate. Mark Labine5197 provides a birth year of 1758. Since Mr. Robichaux’s birthdate is more precise and based on a primary source, I believe it to be correct.
