Daryl LaBine2136 indicates that Hubert Joseph Use was born in Donaldsonville, Ascension Parish, LA on 1 April 1802; however, his baptismal record7198,10490 of 15 April 1807 at the Assumption Catholic Church confirms that he was born on 1 April 1802, but does not indicate where he was born. I have assumed he was born in Assumption Parish, LA since his parents were married at Plattenville, Assumption Parish, LA on 19 August 17995261,7221,2129 and had children after Hubert Joseph Use in Assumption Parish, LA. Although not impossible, it is unlikely that they married in Assumption Parish, LA then briefly moved to Ascension Parish, LA for only a very few years before returning to Assumption Parish, LA to have the remainder of their family.
