“ It appears that Joseph [note: this is Joseph Prince, father of Olivier Prince] has not survived the Deportation or that he has perished at sea. Was he being deported to Boulogne-sur-mer where his second son has died an orphan in 1759? Nevertheless in the census of the Acadians there is at Rochefort in 1770 his elder son Olivier is shown as being orphan. “
