The baptismal certificate of Anne Angelina Guidry states that she was born in Terrebonne Parish on 17 June 1883 and that she was the daughter of Alfridus Guidry and Emelia Guidry.10817,11867 The civil marriage license for the marriage of Angeline Guidry to Elphege Daigle states that she was 28 years old at the time of the marriage on 5 August 1915 in Lafourche Parish, LA and that her parents were Alfred Guidry and Alfrida Guidry.11870,11881 In her second marriage to Sidney Xavier Samonie on 14 February 1931 in Lafourche Parish, LA, she is called Engeline Guidry, listed as a widow of a Daigle, was 44 years old, said to be a native of Houma, LA and her parents are Alfred Guidry and Emelie Guidry.11537,11882,11874 There is a discrepancy in her year of birth between her baptismal certificate and her two marriage documents. Her baptismal certificate cites 1883 as her birth year while both marriages list 1887 as her birth year. Because the baptismal certificate was completed near the time of her birth, I have used 1883 as her birth year.
