Marie Helene Guidry was a daughter of Aurestile Guidry and Leocade Theriot. It appears that Aristide Guidry and Marie Leontine Theriot are not the same people as Aurestile Guidry and Leocade Theriot although the parentage of this latter couple cannot be ascertained at this time. Note that Aristide Guidry and Marie Leontine Theriot had a daughter Marie Estelle Guidry on 16 July 1885 and she was baptized in Raceland, Lafourche Parish, LA.10941,11560 Barely a month later Aurestile Guidry and Leocade Theriot had a daughter Marie Helene Guidry on 18 August 1885 and she was baptized at Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, LA.10941,11561 It seems improbable that the same parents could have two children only a month apart in age. Unless the year on the baptismal certificate of one of the daughters is incorrect, it appears most probable the parents of these two girls are not the same people.
