There is a conflict concerning the location and date of the marriage of Joseph Alcide Guidry and Anneta LeBlanc. One reference in Toups12170,12175 lists the date and location of the marriage as 26 December 1917 at St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral in Thibodaux, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. Another reference in Toups12176 gives the date and location of the marriage as 3 January 1918 at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, Lafourche Parish, Louisiana. It is likely that the first reference is to the obtaining of the marriage license since Thibodaux, Louisiana is the location of the parish courthouse while the second reference is to the actual marriage - especially since it is the later of the two dates.
