Victor Laroche earlier had married Maria Demers, daughter of Isidore Demers and Zoé Vaillancourt, at Chapeau, L’îles-aux-Allumettes, Pontiac RCM, Outaouais AR, Québec Province, Canada [St-Alphonse-de-Liguori Catholic Church] on 9 October 1917. Maria Demers died before 1947. After his civil marriage to Alexina Vaillancourt, Victor Laroche married Valida Dickey, daughter of William Dickey and Rosilda Labonté, at Chapeau, L’îles-aux-Allumettes, Pontiac RCM, Outaouais AR, Québec Province, Canada [St-Alphonse-de-Liguori Catholic Church] on 1 September 1949.
