There appears to be a conflict between two sources on the name and death date of Alire Vaillancourt. Ed Allard7989 states that Alire Vaillancourt (b. 20 April 1908 and baptized 21 April 1908) died on 13 February 1920 on Allumette Island, Pontiac County, Québec, Canada and was buried in February 1920 at Chapeau on Allumette Island, Pontiac County, Québec, Canada. Doug Chartrand7425, using original church sources13310, cites Alice Rose Vaillancourt (born and baptized on the same dates as above) as dying on 18 September 1918 at Chapeau on Allumette Island, Pontiac County, Québec, Canada and being buried on 21 September 1918 at Chapeau on Allumette Island, Pontiac County, Québec, Canada.
Mr. Chartrand appears to have combined two persons into one - Alire Vaillancourt and Rose Vaillancourt - both of who died at a young age. Rose Vaillancourt was born on 12 September 1918 on Allumette Island, Pontiac County, Québec, Canada and died on 18 September 1918 at the same place. She was buried on 21 September 1918 at Chapeau, Allumette Island Pontiac Island, Québec, Canada7989.
