A Joseph Babin purchaed, Jan 9, 1792, a place, RBMR, bet. Jos. Melancon and Jos. Babin, 3 arp., house sur saul, 20’ x 16’, front gallery, boussillier between the posts, covered with pickets (E-281). On Jan 21, 1794 Jean Pierre Cullere declared that he acquired from Jos. Babin, dit Jozine, 3 arp., LBMR, bet. Jos Dupuis and Theo. Rivet, and retrocedes it back to Jos. Babin (E-385). Alain d. Arsenault10343 lists as a son of Paul Braud and Marie Marthe LeBlanc a child Jérôme born in 1777. No other source researched mentions this Jérôme Braud. I believe Arsenault may have erred in assigning Paul Braud and Marie Marthe LeBlanc as the parents of this Jérôme Braud born in 1777. For this reason I have not listed him as such.
