Questions/Errors notes for Louis ARMSTRONG

Bernard Geddry14142 states that Joanne Melenson, wife of Louis Armstrong, was born in December 1974. This appears to be a typographical error as she would only have been 14 or 15 years old at the time of his death in 1989 and thus unlikely to have been his wife at such a young age. It seems more probable that Louis Armstrong and Joanne Melenson married in late 1974. Louis Armstrong was a Catholic priest and received a papal dispensation from his priestly vows in 1974. Thus, being allowed to marry after the dispension in 1974, he appears to have married Joanne Melenson shortly after leaving the priesthood.
