Devoted Mother and Grandmother

Virginia E. Geddry, age 72, died on Thursday, October 11, at the Guardian Center in Brockton. She was the daughter of the late John E. Kitchen and Dorothy (Russo) Famigliette.

Virginia was born in Boston on April 28, 1935. A native of Dedham, Virginia was a 1954 graduate of Dedham High School. She has been a resident of Foxboro for the past 11 years.

Virginia was a clerk for Building 19 3/4 in Norwood for over 26 years. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to spend time with her family. She also loved spending time with her dear friend Ernie and enjoyed dining at local restaurants.

Virginia loved to sing and enjoyed karaoke.

Beloved mother of Susan Chick of Merrimack, NH, Bernard Geddry of Franklin, Nancy Richardi of Foxboro, Juliane Tassinari of Franklin, Michelle Champoux of Bellingham and John Geddry of Arizona. Former wife of Bernard Geddry of Arizona. Dear friend of Ernie. Also survived by eleven grandchildren.

Funeral Information

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on Monday, October 15, from 5-8 at the Roberts & Sons Funeral Home 30 South St. Foxboro. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxboro. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxboro. FOXBOROUGH - Virginia E. (Kitchen) Geddry, 72, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Guardian Center, Boston.

The daughter of the late John E. Kitchen and Dorothy (Russo) Famigliette, she was born in Boston. A native of Dedham, she was a 1954 graduate of Dedham HIgh School, and had been a resident of Foxboro for the past 11 years.

Mrs. Geddry was a clerk for Building 19 in Norwood for more than 26 years. A devoted mother and grandmother, she loved to spend time with her family and with her friend, Ernie, and enjoyed dining at local restaurants.

She loved to sing and enjoyed karaoke.

She leaves her children, Susan Chick of Merrimack, NH, Bernard Geddry of Franklin, Nancy Richardi of Foxboro, Juliane Tassinari of Franklin, Michelle Champoux of Bellingham and John Geddry of Arizona; her former husband, Bernard Geddry of Arizona; her dear friend Ernie; and 11 grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 9 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, Carpenter Street, Foxborough.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Foxborough.
