There is a discrepancy in the birthdate of Remi Saulnier. The WorldConnect website4747 lists a birthdate for Remi Saulnier of 8 April 1838; however, the “Catalogue of the Families of the Parishes of Baie Ste. Marie and St. Mandé etc. par order alphabétique 1840-1844”13892,13893 states that he was born on 9 January 1838. I have used 9 January 1838 as the birthdate of Remi Saulnier since this source is a church record and contemporaneous with his birthdate.
