Cambridge - Eleanor M. “Ellie” (Morgan) Geddry died Sept. 19, 2007, at Mt. Auburn Hospital in Cambridge after a brief illness. She was 85.
Mrs. Geddry was born in Somerville and was a resident of Cambridge for many years before moving back to Somerville. She worked as an office manager for an accounting firm and, at 85, still went into the office several days a week for a few hours.
She was the wife of the late Francis R. Geddry; mother of Thomas and Marilyn, both of Somerville; and sister of Edna and the late Marilyn and Ruth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held Sept. 22 at St. Catherine’s Church in Somerville, with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Arrangements were made by the Hickey Funeral Home in Cambridge.
Donations in Mrs. Geddry’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. “14211
