Questions/Errors notes for Jean Theodule DUMESNIL
The website ‘Butaud - Ancestry World Tree Search Results’ gives the death date of Jean Theodule Dumesnil as 12 Dec 1859
75 rather than 15 Jun 1906

Questions/Errors notes for Marie Erma (Spouse 1)
BUS-001 ( p. 6) incorrectly calls Marie Erma Butaud by the name of Louisa Butaud; however, the age and the date of marriage for the person match that of Marie Erma Butaud.
In the Census of 1850 of St. Mary Parish, LA Marie Erma Butaud is listed as a white female 8 years of age (i.e., born in 1842) which is near the birth year of 1840 given by other sources
59.

Notes for Adele (Spouse 2)
There is some confusion on the birth date of Adele Butaud. HEB-001 v. 3 p. 50 lists an Adele Butaud, daughter of Alexis Bertrand and Irma Lange, being born on 25 Aug 1835 [St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church; P. O. Box 10; St. Martinville, LA; v. 8 p. 1071[B]] in St. Martin Parish, LA. Also, HEB-001 v. 3 p. 122 lists an Adele Butaud, daughter of Alexis Butaud and Marie Irma Lange, being born on 6 Jul 1837 in Iberia Parish, LA [St. Peter’s Catholic Church; 108 East St. Peter Street; New Iberia, LA; v. 1 p. 2-bis[B]]. Finally, HEB-001 v. 18 p. 60 provides the death record of Adele Butaud, who died in March 1887 at the age of 50 years [Immaculate Conception Catholic Church; P. O. Box 278; Charenton, LA 70523; v. 1 p. 147[F]]. From this it appears that the Adele Butaud who was the daughter of Alexis Butaud and Marie Irma Lange was born in 1837 rather than 1835.
Questions/Errors notes for Adele (Spouse 2)
HEB-001 (v. 3 pp. 50-52, 122) has an Adele Bertrand, daughter of Alexis and Irma Lange. Although it is enticing to assume that this is Adele Butaud, the daughter of Alexis Butaud and Marie Irma Lange, the young girl is actually the Adele Bertrand, the daughter of Alexis Bertrand, fils and Marie Carmelite Trahan. The name of the mother is incorrectly given as Irma Lange rather than Marie Carmelite Trahan. Adele Bertrand was born 25 Aug 1835 in St. Martin Parish, LA while Adele Butaud was born 6 Jul 1837 in Iberia Parish, LA. The first four children of Alexis Bertrand and Marie Carmelite Trahan were: Melaide Bertrand (b. 7 May 1833), Divine Bertrand (bapt. 10 Oct 1834 at 4 weeks), Adele Bertrand (b. 25 Aug 1835) and Marie Uranie Bertrand (27 Sep 1836). Adele Butaud’s gravestone gives her birthdate as 6 Jul 1837 (Gravestone inscription of Adele Butaud at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Charenton, LA).
