Charles, Marguerite and their children Pierre, Henriette, Marguerite and an infant departed France on 20 Jun 1785 aboard the “St. Remi” arriving in New Orleans, Louisiana on 9 Sep 1785. The passenger list shows; Jean Charles (51) Wood Polisher, Marguerite (34), son Pierre David (2), daughter Marguerite (3) and a nursing infant.
