Witnesses of the present marriage, residence and liberty of the parties were: René Godet, uncle; Prudence Godet, wife of Gruaud, aunt of the groom; and for the bride other than the father, Marie Boudrot, wife of Terriot, aunt; Joseph Terriot, cousin of the bride, all of Acadian nationality of whom only Joseph Terriot signed. The others as well as the parties have declared not knowing how.
