En 1819, elle était à Saint-Pierre pour de bon, semble-t-il. Il n’est donc pas impossible que des Prince d’origine acadienne se retrouvent encore aujourd’hui à Saint-Pierre. “

“ This couple is living primarily at Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. Apparently, this family has plied back and forth between Saint-Serna and Saint-Pierre whose political fate has changed often. In 1819 they were at Saint-Pierre for good it seems. It is not impossible, therefore that some Prince of Acadian origin are found again today at Saint-Pierre. “13693

“ Le sort de ce Jean-Constant est inconnu. Dans <<The Acadian Exile in Nantes>>, 1775-1785, on lit qu’un enfant de couple Olivier Prince-Pélagie Brault serait décédé le 8 octobre 1778. Mais l’auteur cite le nom de François-Firmin sans doute par erreur puisque Firmin a vécu. Il s’agit probablement plutôt de Jean-Constant. “
Translation:
“ The fate of this Jean-Constant is not known. In “The Acadian Exile in Nantes”, 1775-1785 (sic, “The Acadian Exiles in Nantes, 1775-1785”), we read that a child of the couple Olivier Prince-Pélagie Brault has died on 8 October 1778. But the author cites the name of François-Firmin - no doubt in error since Firmin is alive. Rather it is probably Jean-Constant. “5285

Robichaux5940 apparently has erred when he states that François-Firmin Prince died on 8 October 1778 since there is record of him marrying Marie DuPont about 1795 and living at Saint-Pierre in 1819.13693 It seems that the brother of François-Firmin Prince - Jean-Constant Prince - may have died on 8 October 1778.13693
