On the “Role of the Truly Acadian Families - September 15, 1772” in the book The Acadians in France 1762-177615108 the spouses of Jean Baptiste Guédry, Joseph Marie Guédry and Pierre Janvier Guédry are confused. The actual spouse of Jean Baptiste Guédry was Marguerite Lebert, that of Joseph Marie Guédry was Madgeleine Commaux and that of Pierre Janvier Guédry was Marie-Josephe Lebert. The 1772 Role lists the spouse for Jean Baptiste Guédry as Magdeleine Commaux (the actual spouse of Joseph Marie Guédry), that of Joseph Marie Guédry as Marguerite Lebert (the actual spouse of Jean Baptiste Guédry) and that of Pierre Janvier Guédry also as Marguerite Lebert (the actual spouse of Jean Baptiste Guédry.
